Four annotated online pictures

This photograph is of a keyboard with buttons out of the ordinary. The keyboard itself is a rectangular shape, but the tiny heart keys are what construct this shape into a more interesting and amusing photograph. The keys are plastic love hearts. They make this image look cute and colourful, aimed at a younger audience; specifically girls. The hand above this keyboard is also a shape, but an irregular one because the fingers section off from the hand and can advance in any direction at different sizes.

This picture is of a shape within a shape. A heart has been carved into what looks like a red pear? Or just a really tall apple. The shape of the pear/apple is random as it's a fruit that grows naturally. No fruit is ever grown the exact same size as it's friends which is what makes shapes like these so unique. The carved heart is the subject of this image which still demonstrates a shape and this is why I admire this photograph. The red colour also stands out against the brown table it's sitting on which absorbs a viewers attention.

It seems as though hearts are an extremely popular carving and shape to be included amongst shape photography. Hearts are a shape that a lot of creative people find themselves carving and creating when doing something in d.i.y. For example, this photograph above is of a fence in a garden that has had heart shapes carved out of the wood to accomplish a cute fairytale like garden. Miniature circles have also been carved. These variety of shapes make this fence look a lot more attractive and fascinating. Colours are not needed as much in this picture because the hearts and circles are the subject of this image. They do this photograph enough justice flying solo.

The first shape that the audience will see in this photograph is a circle. Although this shape is a circle lacking in precision, it's still evident that this is the main shape. Sparklers have been used at night time against the dark sky to make the variety of light trails stand out. Orange streaks of light are also bouncing off the circle's outline and mainly facing south. This also creates a pattern which gives the photograph even more attractive features.

My definition of 'shape': An object with an outline, whether that be curved or straight or a range of angles that join up from beginning to end.
