Form is the 3-Dimensional nature of an object. Shadow portrays an object in a photograph to be a product of 'form'. The pictures below all include shadow somewhere amongst them so it is evident that everything in each photograph is 3D. Some photographs are black and white, making shadows extremely clear and naturally part of the photo, whereas some are in colour meaning shadow is evident through different shades of that colour.

This photograph displays more of a reflection, however we can tell that the image includes 'form' because the shades on the pencil aren't the exact same. This is because of shadow. Different angles of the pencil attract different areas of light, making some sides a darker colour.

This photograph is inspiring because not only are there shadows on the two dancers which demonstrates their 3-Dimensional form, but they are also creating a shadow on the wall with their bodies entwined. This image displays plenty of shadow and it is evident that it's a photograph illustrating form. |

There is a shadow on the above orange droplet which illustrates how the droplet has a curve. The shadow isn't dark like most, but instead just a different shade of orange, appearing on part of the droplet where light isn't been beamed. Things with curves are also usually 3D. |

This photograph contains a tiny shadow beneath the sphere of string/straw. The ball also looks 3D because the string/straw that's formed it all curl around eachother at different angles, demonstration how it's not flat, and not 2D. |
